So, I thought that animal metaphor thing would never touch me. It's not that I dislike it, I just never considered it as something of interest for me. But life itself emphasized particular animal based similarities, so I couldn't evade it... darn.

It's the first of five pages, and I still have no opinion of it. I just wish I'm not that rough in lining, looks like I've scratched it with my nails or something. Need my B vitamins to calm down a little.

Great page, I love how you resolved lightning with the lines. About the animal metaphor, I've got to say I totally agree with James-- in fact I didn't pay particular attention to that until reading the comment. Looking forward to seeing more pages. :)

Here's the difference between you doing animal-people and most people: usually the ones who are doing them are copying their favorite style done by other artists who do animal people...you are doing your own thing with them, making it somewhat less silly...

Thank you James, I try to explain, mainly to myself, that it was necessary for the whole story, which will be featured here soon, I hope. Then you'll tell me...

Indeed I shall tell you ;) Everything, no matter how silly or overdone, was once done for a very good reason, tapping into those reasons and using them for good storytelling is justifiable:nod:
